TEHRAN – A number of foreign ambassadors to Tehran on Tuesday visited the secretariat of the Expediency Council to sign a guestbook in memory of the late Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, who headed the council before he died.

Ambassadors from Syria, Yemen, Malaysia, Burundi, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria, Uruguay, South Korea, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, China, and Kazakhstan signed the book, Tasnim reported.

The ceremony will continue on Wednesday with more foreign ambassadors visiting to sign the guestbook.
